CEDAR RAPIDS - The man released before seeing a judge due to a computer error over the weekend turned himself in to authorities Tuesday night.
A release from the Linn County Jail said 18-year-old Brandon Gordon surrendered himself at the jail at 7:45 p.m.
Gordon, from Marion, was arrested Friday, September 19 and charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that day at a gas station in Cedar Rapids that injured an 18-year-old woman.
A software issue, that has since been corrected according to Linn County authorities, led to his release on Saturday, less than 24 hours after his arrest.
A warrant was issued for his arrest earlier in the day on Tuesday and Linn County deputies, Cedar Rapids police officers and U.S. Marshals were looking for him.
Gordon will make his initial appearance Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m., according to the release.
