Mary Elizabeth Velky, 78, of Solon, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Brosh Chapel in Solon, located at 100 S. Cedar St., with burial to follow in Sulek Cemetery near Shueyville. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brosh Chapel.
