James D. Anderson, 68, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. There will be no memorial services. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
He is survived by his wife, Madonna Anderson; son, Douglas Anderson; stepbrother, Jerry Anderson; and a niece, Mary Victora, all of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Anderson; and sister, Carol Kramber.
James D. Anderson was born Oct. 11, 1945, to Clifford and Lucile Anderson in Decorah, Iowa. James enjoyed fishing, playing the slots, listening to music and Western movies. He loved spending time with his family.
