Naomi "Fern" Minor, 79, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at the Hiawatha Care Center, Hiawatha. A funeral service celebrating Fern's life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, at
Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Gasper; children, Gwen (Rocky) Gano of Cedar Rapids and Doug (Carrie) Minor of Walford; grandchildren, Katie (Dan) Gogel of Cedar Rapids and Spencer Minor of Walford; and brother, Del (Geor-gena) Cline of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Naomi Fern Cline was born May 10, 1934, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Orval and Sylvia (Criss) Cline. On Jan. 15, 1955, she married Gasper Minor in Oskaloosa.
The family would like to especially thank the Hiawatha Care Center staff for the wonderful care they gave to Fern during her stay.
