C.F. Foster, 96, of Manchester, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Manchester Gospel Hall. Family will greet friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Manchester and one hour before services at the Gospel Hall. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
C.F. is survived by one daughter, Donna Jean (Ray) Snyder of Manchester; six sons, John (Linda) Foster and Tim (Joyce) Foster, both of Manchester, Scott (Tammy) Foster of Aurora, Ill., Denis (Sheryl) Foster of Marshalltown, Bill (Theresa) Foster of Columbus, Ohio, and Gerald Foster; two foster daughters, Alison (Gary) Schneider and Juanita (Tracey) Smith; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Donna Bell Williams, of Iowa City.
C.F. was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara; and three brothers, Claude, Robert and Vergil Foster.
