Police said they found a large amount of marijuana and cash at an Iowa City residence Thursday evening.
Members of the Johnson County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 404 S. Governor St., No. 12 at 5 p.m. Thursday. Investigators said they found a large amount of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, more than $10,000 cash, packaging materials and "a variety of other drugs" in the residence.
Police said the home's occupant, 31-year-old Kenneth J. Shaw, was at home when the warrant was served. Shaw was arrested and faces two counts of controlled substance violation, two counts of Iowa drug tax stamp violation, unlawful possession of prescription drugs and keeping a drug house.
He remains in custody at the Johnson County Jail.
