Authorities identify Center Point man in fatal farming accident

A Center Point man was killed in a farming accident on Thursday.
At 6:33 p.m., Linn County sheriff's deputies, Linn County Rescue 57, the Troy Mills Fire Department and Center Point Ambulance Service responded to a fatality accident at 4922 Alice Road in Center Point, the home of 56-year-old Roger Bach. First responders found Bach in a cattle feed lot. Authorities said the fatality involved a skid loader, but did not elaborate on the circumstances of the accident.
Bach was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office and county medical examiner's office.
