Three teenagers have been arrested and could face felony charges after a pizza delivery driver was robbed Tuesday in Waterloo.
Police were dispatched around 10:45 p.m. for a report of a robbery at Pizza Hut, 714 La Porte Road. Officers met with a 60-year-old pizza delivery man who said he was making a delivery to an address in the 1000 block of Leavitt Street when he was flagged down by several boys from a nearby apartment building.
The delivery man told authorities he followed the three boys up the stairs to receive payment for the pizzas, and when he got upstairs he was hit in the back of the head and robbed of the pizzas.
Upon further investigation, authorities arrested Devonta K. White, 15, Deontai R. Sallis, 16, and Zejnudin Abdic, 17, all of Waterloo, on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
No serious injuries were reported from the incident.
