A Kentucky man who faces a federal bank robbery charge in Minnesota was indicted last week in a Center Point bank robbery from last October.
George "Ricky" Gaunt, 25, of Louisville, Ky., was indicted Feb. 5, in U.S. District Court on one count of bank robbery. He is accused of robbing the Keystone Savings Bank in Center Point, Oct. 12, according to court documents. He took about $2,022 from the bank.
Gaunt handed a note demanding money to a teller and ran from the bank after receiving the cash, according to a release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office after the robbery.
Gaunt was indicted in November 2013 for one count of bank robbery in Minnesota and was at the time of his arrest in Iowa and Minnesota also a suspect in two robberies that occurred in Virginia, also in October 2013, according to authorities.
Linn County authorities also identified Justin Wade, 29, of Covington, Ky., as a second suspect in the Keystone robbery but he hasn't been indicted at this time.
