Chris Soules’ motion to dismiss case denied by Iowa Supreme Court
Chris Soules' motion to dismiss charges has been denied by the Iowa Supreme Court. This decision upholds a January 5, 2018 District Court decision to deny his motion to dismiss.
Earlier this month Soules appeared in Black Hawk County District Court and waived his right to a speedy trial.
The waiver means the state does not have to be prepared to prosecute him on the charge of leaving the scene of a fatal crash within one year of his arrest.
