No injuries reported in Cedar Rapids house fire

The Cedar Rapids Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire in the Northeast quadrant Tuesday afternoon, and all residents had evacuated the house before their arrival.
Crews were dispatched at 3:02 p.m., according to a media release. The house, at 3922 Terrace Hill Drive NE, had smoke and fire showing, which they were quickly able to bring under control.
All occupants and their dog were out of the home and accounted for upon the arrival of fire crews. No medical treatment was required, according to the release.
The fire was determined to be caused by unattended cooking, and caused significant fire and water damage to the kitchen and some smoke damage to the rest of the house.
