Cedar Rapids police asking for help with identifying theft suspect

CEDAR RAPIDS - Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying a theft suspect from surveillance photos who allegedly used a stolen credit card.
The stolen credit card was used to purchase items at local retailers, according to a media release from the city of Cedar Rapids.
Those who can identify the suspect are encouraged to call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at 319-286-5458. They can also contact Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-cs-crime (272-7463) or text CRIMES (274637) with the message 5227 and a tip.
Those reporting a tip should reference case #2018-04607.
