CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man faces burglary and assault charges after he forced his way into a residence and hit a person with a tire iron, police said.
Officers were dispatched at 12:45 a.m. May 15 to a residence in the 800 block of Kerry Lane SE, according to the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
A 46-year-old woman told police that Walker J.A. Henley, 22, had kicked in the apartment door and assaulted her 35-year-old friend with what was thought to be a tire iron.
