A Cedar Rapids man faces the charge of 2nd degree sexual abuse following an incident on December 11, 2017.
According to a criminal complaint filed with the Iowa District Court for Linn County, Walter Demetris Boyd, 38, was allegedly supervising an 11-year-old girl and her brother at the children's home on the NE side of Cedar Rapids.
During the day of December 11, 2017, Boyd allegedly locked the girl's brother outside of the home before committing the abuse of the girl in her bedroom.
