Washington police investigating suspicious death
The Washington Police Department and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are conducting a suspicious death investigation.
According to a news release, at around 8 A.M. Wednesday, Washington Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious death in the apartment complex located at 601 W Adams St., Washington.
Soon after, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was called to assist with the investigation.
The name of the decedent will be released upon notification of the family, the release states.
The investigation is ongoing and no additional information has been released at this time.
