Motorcycle driver sent to hospital after collision with car
CEDAR RAPIDS - A car versus motorcycle crash sent one person to the hospital Tuesday morning.
Ann Marie Mundy, 21, was turning her Hyundai Accent onto eastbound Highway 151 from Dean Road SW when she pulled into the path of a westbound Suzuki motorcycle driven my Mike Ray Crumm, 29, according to a media release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
Crumm was wearing a helmet during the crash but was send to Mercy Medical Center for serious injuries. Mundy had minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
Mundy received a failure to yield citation. The crash remains under investigation with pending charges, according to the release.
