Cedar Rapids man charged in child sex abuse
CEDAR RAPIDS - A 28-year-old Cedar Rapids man has been charged with sexual abuse of a child.
Cedar Rapids police arrested Neil Lawrence Comtois on Wednesday afternoon on one count of second-degree sexual abuse.
He is accused of engaging in a sex act with a 7-year-old girl at her home last August, according to the complaint.
The maximum sentence for second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony, is 25 years.
