CEDAR RAPIDS - A Bondurant man faces third-degree sexual abuse charges for allegedly abusing a 12-year-old child Marion girl, according to court records.
Jacob William Fothergill, 21, of Bondurant, turned himself in on a warrant for sexual abuse - forcible fondling at Linn County Jail early this morning and was taken into custody at 3:50 a.m. He has a $15,000 cash bond.
The female child described during a forensic interview how Fothergill engaged in sex acts with her at her residence in Marion, according to court records. Authorities declined to release additional information about how Fothergill and the child knew each other or if they are related.
