Single vehicle accident near Highway 30 and Sixth St. SW results in serious injury
Cedar Rapids Police responded to the scene of a single vehicle car accident around 2 a.m. this morning.
The accident happened near the intersection of Highway 30 and Sixth St. SW in Cedar Rapids.
The roadway was closed for approximately 2 and a half hours for scene processing, but it is now reopened.
The driver has been transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
There is no word on the cause of the accident, and the incident remains under investigation.
