Three arrested after hourslong investigation at Iowa City apartment complex

A sizable police presence could be seen at an apartment complex at 1956 Broadway Street in Iowa City Saturday morning, as police and a Special Response Team worked to arrest three suspects who were believed to be armed.
Iowa City police officers first responded to the complex around 3:50 a.m. for a report of a robbery, according to a media release. The victim said that multiple males stole money and other items under threat of violence.
Officers located possible suspects in the apartment complex, but were unsuccessful in multiple attempts to communicate with them, according to the release.
Information provided to police suggested that guns could be present and the occupants could be armed, and the Iowa City Metro Special Repsonse Team served a search warrant at 7:40 a.m., according to the release.
Two occupants, Isidore Nagueza, 22, and Dillon Kellerman, 18, came out of the apartment and were taken into custody at 10:13 a.m. Nagueza had 2 active warrants for his arrest for probation violations and Kellerman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Assault Causing Injury.
A third occupant, Moudine Sitou, 24, eventually surrendered and was taken into custody at 10:44 a.m.
The robbery investigation is ongoing.
