Iowa City police investigating Monday robbery

Iowa City police are searching for a robbery suspect who took 'an undisclosed amount of medication” from a Walgreens.
According to a news release, at around 10:30 p.m. on Monday Iowa City Police responded to the Walgreens, 2214 Muscatine Ave., for a strong arm robbery that occurred at the store's pharmacy.
The suspect is described as a heavier built Hispanic male wearing all dark clothing. According to the release, he approached a pharmacy employee and demanded to be taken behind the pharmacy counter. He threatened the use of a weapon, but none was displayed.
He then hopped over the counter, gathered up an undisclosed amount of medication, and fled the store on foot. The employee was not injured during the incident.
