Police: Woman used brass knuckles, box cutter to attack woman Cedar Rapids

A 24-year-old woman faces multiple charges after she allegedly attacked another woman with brass knuckles and a box cutter.
According to the criminal complaint, Dayzary M. Jones assaulted the woman Monday in the 200 block of 10th Street NW. Witnesses told police they saw Jones 'advance upon the victim stating ‘I'm going to jail today,'” the complaint states.
Police said the woman suffered lacerations during the attack that required medical treatment.
Jones is charged with willful injury causing bodily injury, a Class D felony, as well as assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and carrying a weapon, both aggravated misdemeanors.
