Cedar Rapids police looking for man who allegedly robbed convenience store at knifepoint

CEDAR RAPIDS - Police are looking for a man who is suspected of robbing a convenience store at knifepoint Monday morning.
Cedar Rapids police said a man armed with a knife walked into the Kwik Shop at 1001 First Ave. SW around 10:40 a.m. and demanded money from the register. Police described him as a black man between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10-inches tall, with salt and pepper facial hair. Witnesses estimated the man was 40 to 50 years old. He was wearing a stocking cap.
Police said the man left in a light blue sedan. They did not specify how much money was stolen.
