Complaint: Cedar Rapids man found in possession of stolen motorcycle

CEDAR RAPIDS - a Cedar Rapids man was arrested after a stolen motorcycle was found in his possession, police said.

Damien Lee Medulan, 40, who was arrested last week, faces a charge of second-degree theft, a Class C felony, according to the criminal complaint,

Police said the Yamaha motorcycle was reported stolen from a parking lot June 24.

On Wednesday, officers were doing a 'warrant check” when they located Medulan at 1812 Eastern Dr. SE.

After he was taken into custody, officers found the motorcycle, police said.

The motorcycle had been repainted several times and several different colors in order to alter its appearance, police said.
