Two people face burglary charges after they allegedly broke into a northwest Cedar Rapids home.
According to the criminal complaint from the Cedar Rapids Police Department, officers responded to a home Monday in the 600 block of Concord Lane NW after a neighbor saw people using flashlights inside.
When they arrived, police said they saw signs of forced entry and found Charles D. Rajonis Schmitt, 30, and Rhonda S. Rajonis, 56, both of Cedar Rapids, inside the home and 'several personal artifacts had been gathered and packed for removal,' according to the criminal complaint.
Each faces a charge of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony.
