Name released of man killed on Highway 13
MARION - Authorities on Friday identified the man killed by a semi trailer truck as Chad E. Lutter, 45, of Marion.
Lutter died after being struck on Highway 13 south of Mount Vernon Road at 5:22 p.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
Maj. Chad Colston of the sheriff's office said the crash remains under investigation, but it appears Lutter walked into the path of the semi.
