Fire damages a condo in southeast Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS - Fire damaged one condo in a complex on the southeast side Thursday night.
One adjoining condo sustained minor smoke damage.
Firefighters responded at 9:11 p.m. to the 700 block of East Post Court SE. A KCRG-TV9 photographer on the scene said the fire appeared to be mostly out around 9:35 p.m.
Battalion Chief Andy Olesen said no injuries were reported.
Investigators said it was too early to know what caused the fire or how much damage it caused.
Firefighters remained on the scene as of 10:20 p.m. to monitor and put out hot spots.
