Marion man dies in crash on Robins Road
CEDAR RAPIDS - A Marion man died in a single-vehicle crash north of Cedar Rapids on Tuesday.
David Greene, 77, was driving an SUV at about 3:40 p.m. when he lost control and struck a tree at 2768 E. Robins Rd., according to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies believe Greene had a medical problem that caused his vehicle to leave the roadway.
No one else was in the vehicle. The accident remains under investigation.
According to Greene's obituary, a memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Monday at Echo Hill Presbyterian Church in Marion.
