Watch Live as Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, makes his first court appearance regarding the charge of first-degree murder of Mollie Tibbetts.
Rivera is appearing at the Poweshiek County Courthouse in Montezuma, Iowa on Wednesday, August 22.
Mollie Tibbetts was last seen on the night of July 18, which is the night Rivera allegedly killed her.
Since then, a more than month-long search for Tibbetts was held, culminating in yesterday's press conference where officials informed the public that a body had been found in a rural cornfield, and was identified as Tibbetts.
