Marion police warn of suspicious man peeping in windows
Kat Russell Aug. 24, 2018 4:55 pm, Updated: Aug. 24, 2018 6:23 pm
The Marion Police Department says it has received multiple complaints regarding a man looking into the windows of homes and apartments at night, and approaching younger females during the day.
Police said the man is described as white, with a thin build and in his mid-30s. The suspect's car has been described as a light blue Subaru Legacy, police said.
Police are encouraging residents to call 911 and report any suspicious activity involving a similar vehicle but ask that citizens refrain from calling just to report a possible vehicle sighting.
The police department said investigators have significant information regarding the identity of the subject and are moving forward with their investigation.
In the meantime, the police department encourages citizens to remain vigilant and exercise caution - locking doors and windows, and closing window coverings.
