CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man faces drug-related charges after packages of methamphetamine and other drugs were found during a traffic stop, according to police.
Officers stopped David Darold Blauer, 54, on Tuesday for an equipment violation in a parking lot at 812 Sixth St. SW and found him with a bag containing 28 grams (1 ounce) of methamphetamine, according to a criminal complaint filed in Linn County District Court.
After a drug dog indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle, officers found five more plastic bags of methamphetamine weighing 25 grams.
Officers also found a jar of marijuana, scales, packaging materials and 20 pseudoephedrine pills, the complaint said.
Blauer faces charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug tax stamp violation.
The complaint said Blauer has methamphetamine-related convictions from 2004, 2010 and 2014.
