Forcht - Atwood

Elisa Rae Forcht and Brian Scott Atwood were united in marriage on May 9, 2015 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Craig and Dixie Forcht of Chelsea, and Mike and Julie Walsh of Fairfax. The groom is the son of Scott and Cheryl Atwood of Van Horne.

The bride was attended by maid of honor Morgan Walsh, and bridesmaids Amanda Griffith, Sanda Ha, Brittney Hejda, Alicia Slocum, Dalyn Waldo and Maddie Wessels, and personal attendant Billie Grimes. Junior bridesmaids were Caitlin Atwood and Bailey Waldo.

The groom was attended by his best man, James Horyna, and groomsmen Jed Baskerville, Kaleb McVay, Matt Moore, Jacob Scherrman and Russell Atwood. Ushers were Wesley Forcht and Britton Waldo. The bride and groom were preceded down the aisle by flower girl Amelia Griffith, and ringbearers Ryden Forcht, Leo Griffith and Linkoln Moore.

The reception, decorated in a vintage theme, was held at the Festehalle Barn in Amana immediately following the wedding. The bride is a graduate of Belle Plaine High School and currently attends U of I, and works for the University of Iowa Hospitals as an EMT. The groom is a graduate of Kennedy High School and is co-owner of 4-Guys Auto in Cedar Rapids. The couple will reside in Cedar Rapids and are planning a winter honeymoon "someplace warm."
