No. 10-seed Iowa nearly pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in NCAA men's basketball tournament history before running out of gas in overtime.
No. 2-seed Tennessee's 25-point first-half lead disappeared, but the Volunteers hung on to win 83-77 in overtime.

Turning point: After Iowa tied the score at 71 on two Joe Wieskamp free throws with 20.8 seconds left, Tennessee had a perfect start to overtime. Grant Williams knocked down a pair of free throws, Jordan Bone canned a 3-pointer and Williams drilled another jumper to put Tennessee up 78-71. Another Hawkeye comeback wasn't in store.
MVP: Admiral Schofield dominated the first half with 17 points as the Vols went up 49-28, at one point leading 44-19. But he was in foul trouble for much of the second half and Williams made the difference after Iowa came all the way back. Williams finished with 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting, seven rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks.
Key stat: 6. Iowa just didn't have enough left in the extra period, as it was outscored 12-6. It was a valiant comeback, but Tennessee held on to advance.
