Louise F. Mustion, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died June 29, 2014, at Linn Manor Care Center in Marion. Per her wishes, she was cre-mated at Cedar Memorial in Cedar Rapids, with a request for no memorial service.
Survivors include a son, Bill Mustion, a grandson, Sean Mustion, and a sister, Connie Houston, all of Eldon, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John W. Mustion; her father, Herbert J. Troxel; her mother, Faner M. Troxel; and her sister, Betty Jean Troxel.
Louise was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Belle, Mo., the eldest daughter of Herbert J. Troxel and Faner M. (Frost) Troxel. She was a graduate of Midway High School in Stark City, Mo. After high school she worked in Neosho, Mo., at the Newton County Family Services office.
Louise and John were married June 25, 1955, in Neosho. They moved to Cedar Rapids in 1970. Louise worked as a teacher assistant at Kenwood Elementary School. She later worked at Rockwell until 1992.
Louise enjoyed the outdoors, walks, cooking and traveling.
The family would like to thank Linn Manor Care Center for its attentive concern and support and thanks to Dr. Mary Anne Nelson for many years of personalized medical attention. Also, thanks for the calls and condolences from friends and neighbors.
