Ludmilla Ruggieri, 91, of Marion, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at the home of her daughter. Memorial services were held at St. John The Baptist Orthodox Church. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Irene (Rev. Elias) Khouri of Marion; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; and son, Alexander.
Ludmilla was born Aug. 2, 1923, in Poland, the daughter of Alexander and Neonila (Dentel) Plutalov. She was married on Aug. 18, 1945, in Germany.
Vincent passed away in 1988 and Alexander in 2012.
Ludmilla was an actuary for Transamerica for over 28 years, retiring in 1988 and a faithful member of the Orthodox Christian Church.
