Larry Dean Osterkamp, 69, died March 15, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids from heart and lung complications. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, rural Monticello. Pastor Ellery Dykeman will officiate at the service. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa.

Surviving are his wife, Amanda; mother. Evelyn (John) Stimpson; children, Paul (Tonia) of Cedar Rapids, Theresa (Tom) of Monticello, Dan (Jamie) of Anamosa, Connie (Russell) of Monticello and David (Paula) of Morley; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children; and sisters and brother, Sharon Hurt (Jim Fell) of Anamosa, Ernie (Gerrie) Osterkamp of Anamosa, Patricia (Dean) Yousse of Scotch Grove, Pamela Osterkamp of Cedar Rapids, Marilyn (Dale) Christiansen of Anamosa, Debbie Osterkamp of Anamosa and Connie (Randy) Ehlers of Anamosa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry; grandson, Dean; nephew, Noah; mother-in-law, Florence; and father-in-law, Paul.
Larry Dean Osterkamp was born Dec. 17, 1944, in Monticello, Iowa, the son of Henry and Evelyn Etten Osterkamp. He was a 1963 graduate of Anamosa High School. On Dec. 5, 1998, Larry and Amanda Yarrington were united in marriage in Anamosa. Larry was a mechanic for REC for more than 18 years.
He was a member of Wayne Zion Lutheran Church for more than 50 years. He enjoyed tractors, cars, visiting Old Threshers Reunion in Mount Pleasant and farming with Randy and Connie.
He will be missed dearly by those closest to him.
