Anamosa
Victor "Vic" Novak, 83, of Anamosa, formerly of Tama, died Thursday evening, Jan. 30, 2014, at Jones
Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday,
Feb. 15, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anamosa, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Military Honors will be accorded by the U.S. Army Honors Unit. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Early, Iowa, in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jones Regional Medical Center or Above and Beyond Hospice and Home Care.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Donna; two daughters, Joan (Bob) Holt, Fremont, Neb., and Vicki (Jon) Russell, Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Brooke (Jon) Denio, Lexington, Ky., and Mike (Ashley) Russell and Ryan (Keely) Russell, both of Cedar Rapids; two great-grandchildren, Knox and Emsley Russell; two sisters, Dorothy (Ed) Rosburg, Kiowa, Colo., and Elaine Rosburg, Lincoln, Neb.; three brothers-in-law, Dale (Bev) Mooney, Sac City, Dick (June) Mooney, Storm Lake, and Damon (Pam) Mooney, Nemaha; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Bessie Novak; and father- and mother-in-law, Marvin and Ruth Mooney.
