RONALD THURSBY

Ronald Thursby, 63, formerly of Tipton, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
He was a 1968 graduate of Merrillville (Ind.) High School and a Purdue graduate. Ron retired from in-dustrial sales with Expro Inc.
He was an adventurous person who had a love for many hobbies. Ron's pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Thursby.
Ron is survived by his son, David (Amy) Thursby of Valparaiso, Ind.; daughter, Laura (Joshua) Bradbury of Bloomington, Ill.; mother, Mary Thursby of St. John, Ind.; sisters, Pat (Gary) Peters of Wisconsin and Peggy (David) Everett of Munster, Ind.; brothers, Charles (Lisa) Thursby of Colorado and Mark (Lori) Thursby of St. John; and five grandchildren, Jack, Tatum, Sam, Madison and Alex.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, Ind. Interment: Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, Ind. Friends may visit with Ron's family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. www.burnsfuneral.com
