Defining the Real Problem, A3 Thinking, part of the Lean Six Sigma Network, will be held 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Iowa Quality Center, Marion. John Rinke from Mercy Medical Center will discuss A3 Thinking along with tips, suggestions and things to watch out for when working with an A3.

The Cedar Rapids Chamber Academy will present Preparing for the Unthinkable Disaster, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., and again from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 14. It will be presented by Gary Ficken, owner of Bimm Ridder Sportswear, and Scott Loggins, case manager with the chamber's Business Success Initiative.
