Steven W. "Steamer" West, 67, of West Chester, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at University of Iowa
Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, following a brief illness. Celebration of Life services will be 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 Monday evening. Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the West Chester Heritage Association or the West Chester Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy West of West Chester; son, Bret West and wife Ronda of Way-land, Iowa; daughter, Jodi Latcham and husband Robert of Washington, Iowa; and four grandchildren, Austin and Alex Latcham and Natalie and Nicholas West.
Steve is also survived by three brothers, Larry "Pokey" West and wife Linda of West Chester, Tom West and wife Rhonda of Springdale, Ark., and Rob "Reuben" West and wife Rhonda of Washington.
