Mary Jayne Greif, 89, of Naperville, Ill., formerly of Independence, died peacefully on Feb. 27, 2014, at Tabor Hills Healthcare facility in Naperville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Paul, in 2003.
She is survived by her son, Tim and daughter-in-law Maryanne Greif of Naperville; a sister, Betty McCormick of Hampton; two grandsons, Andrew (Shenade) Greif of Geneva, Ill., and Tony Greif of Chicago; two great-grand-children, Brogan Paul and Kaylee Jayne Greif of Geneva, Ill.; a niece, Julie (Rick) Salvesen of Hampton; and a nephew, John (Dawn) McCormick of La Grange Park, Ill.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at St. John's Catholic Church, Independence, with the Rev. Don Plamondon officiating. Inurnment: St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Sat-urday at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory in Independence.
