Ronald A. Cahill, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died suddenly at his home Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Teahen Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Ronald is survived by three children, Laura (Brian) Clark of Cedar Rapids, Jodi of Marion and Brett (Sara) of Tulsa, Okla.; mother, Mary Cahill of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Steven (Brenda) of Palo and Kevin (Trish) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one sister, Patricia (Al) Heintz of North English; three grandchildren, Alexander, Aiden and Colten; and former wife, Julie Cahill.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Patrick.
Ronald Anthony was born Oct. 30, 1953, in Ruislip, United Kingdom, the son of Patrick and Mary Jo Ann (Lacy) Cahill. He worked for over 30 years at Commonwealth Edison as a health physics technician.
He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and Iowa Hawkeyes. Most of all he enjoyed watching his grandsons participate in extracurricular actives.
