Leach, Victoria C.
Victoria C. Leach, 90, a resident of Northbrook Care Center, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010. Graveside gathering: 10 a.m. Thursday at Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include two nephews, Wayne (Jan) Karr and LeRoy (Diane) Karr; two nieces, Georgia Anne Kazimour O'Keefe and Win Fiala; great-nephews, David (Mindy) Karr, Steve (Debra) Karr and Ed (Stephanie) Karr; great-niece, Sandy (Bill) Anderson; first cousin, Olga (Wes) Sindelar-Drahozal; and great-great-nieces, Carissa, Kearsten, Kailee and Jessica.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Joe Fiala, Agnes Brewer, Mary Kazimour and Georgia Karr.
Victoria was born Dec. 28, 1919, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Sindelar) Fiala, in Bolivar, Mo. She had a strong love for nature and enjoyed painting. Victoria also enjoyed her involvement with the community theater, singing and was a member of various musical groups.
