Bebber, Larry
Larry Bebber, 67, of North Buena Vista, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at his home in North Buena Vista. He was born the son of Louallen and Bernice (Batchelder) Bebber on July 2, 1944, in Anamosa, Iowa.
Larry received his education from the Springville School. He served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam and received an honorable discharge. On Dec. 5, 1975, Larry was united in marriage to Maxine Elliott in Galena, Ill. For 30 years he worked for John Deere Dubuque Works, until his retirement. Larry enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing and made time almost every weekend on the Mississippi River and even would camp on the sandbars from time to time.
Larry is survived by his wife, Maxine; three children, Larry Jr. (Tiffany) Bebber, Luther Bebber and Vada (fiance Chris Dahl) Bebber; seven grandchildren; three siblings, Nancy (Jerry) Akers, Patricia Hinegardner and Mark (Julie) Bebber; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 207 S. First, Guttenberg, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. today.
