Bakehouse, Kenneth George
Kenneth George Bakehouse, 90, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at the Halcyon House in Washington, after failing in health for the past several months. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elm Grove Cemetery with Pastor Colton Clay officiating. Visitation will begin 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Jones Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa.
A general memorial has been established.

He is survived by daughters, Nancy Ellinger of Colorado Springs, Colo., Julie Steele and husband John Eggenburg of Iowa City, and Lisa Brock and husband Lyle of Washington, Iowa; sister, Georgene Becker of Albuquerque, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
