Grandstaff, Mary Lou
Mary Lou Grandstaff, 83, of Manchester, formerly of Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at Cedar Valley Hospice House in Waterloo. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, by the Rev. Roger Henry. Burial: Silver Creek Cemetery, rural Ryan. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Catherine Hines and Judy Hines of Waterloo; one foster daughter, Gwen Roemig of Waterloo; a stepson, Ronald Grandstaff of Lawrence, Kan.; former daughter-in-law, Barbara Grandstaff of Lawrence, Kan.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Norma Sabin of Cedar Rapids, Florence Logan of Manchester and Nancy (Earl) Strickler of Greeley; sister-in-law, Deanna Odell of Indiana; and brother-in-law, Lawrence Kopecky of Monticello.
