Lanning, Mary Jane
Mary Jane Lanning, 87, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at Marengo Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with the Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Victor Memorial Cemetery, Victor. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be contributed to First United Methodist Church, Marengo.
She is survived by three sisters, Margaret Taylor, Katherine Tome and Theresa Muhvich (Frank), all of Ely, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece and caregiver, Marianne Ocheltree of Victor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel on Aug. 18, 2008; a sister, Frances Thoren; three brothers-in-law, Claude Taylor, Roger Thoren and Frank Tome; and a nephew, John Taylor.
