Eiffert, Adele A.
Adele A. Eiffert, 73, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, in Lewisville, Texas. She was born June 4, 1936, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Walter William Richards and Gladys Rose Miller Richards. Due to the death of her birth mother, Adele was raised by Bernice Margaret Richards from the age of two.
In 1955, she graduated from Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids, and attended St. Luke's School of Nursing for her LPN certification.
Adele married LeRoy H. Eiffert on Nov. 26, 1960, in Monona, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1996.
Adele was a 32 year member of First United Methodist Church in Lewisville, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a huge Farmer football and baseball supporter for over 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Francis, Marcia Eiffert, Mary Eiffert, Melinda Eiffert, Michael Eiffert and David Berg; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers and sisters, Elsie Harris, Herb Richards, Fern Berends, Dale Richards, Paul Richards and Teresa Berry.
Adele was interred at the Monona City Cemetery, Monona, Iowa.
