Donna Jean Ditch, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at St. Luke's Living Center West. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, with the Rev. Dr. Ritva Williams presiding. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services Wednesday at Brosh
Chapel.
Donna was born Aug. 30, 1937, at home in Mead, Colo., the daughter of Conrad and Ernestine "Anna" (Schlagel) Snyder. She married Delbert Ditch on June 12, 1960, in Olds,
Iowa. Donna enjoyed outdoor activities spent with her family, such as fishing, camping and traveling. Her hobbies included cross stitching, painting ceramics and baking her family favorites.
Donna is survived by her husband, Delbert; children Linda Ruby of Marion, Nancy (Gene) Hlas of Swisher and Debra (William) Ender of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Amber (Julian) Slade, Alicia (Brandon) Schulte, Sinclair (Emily) Ender, Curtis Hlas and Brittney (Josef) Hejda; eight great-grandchildren; and sister Joanne Gilbaugh of Greeley, Colo.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Jon Ruby; and a brother, Leland Snyder.
