Keppler, The Rev. Daniel J.

The Rev. Daniel J. Keppler, 80, of Monona, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, due to various illnesses. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Monona, with the Most Rev. Jerome Hanus, Archbishop of Dubuque, as celebrant. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church, with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m., led by Monsignor Stanley Hayek, and one hour before mass Saturday at the church. Interment: St. Mark Cemetery, Edgewood. Arrangements are with Leonard Funeral Home in Monona.

Survivors include two brothers, Jerome Keppler of Manchester and James Keppler of Cedar Rapids; one sister-in-law, Lucille Keppler of Strawberry Point; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Father Keppler was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Burr, Clarinda Bushaw and Bernice Bushaw; and brothers, Cletus Keppler, Leonard Keppler, Raymond Keppler, Harold Keppler, John Keppler and Irvin Keppler.
